Acclivity Ventures Limited ("Acclivity Ventures", "we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data we process through the Acclivity Ventures Evaluation Tool (the "Service"). This notice explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have.

• Account data: your name, email address and login credentials, used to create and secure your account.
• Usage data: records of how you use the Service, including evaluation activity, run history and audit logs, used to provide and improve the Service and to keep it secure.
• Support data: messages you send us, used to respond to your requests.
• Technical data: device identifiers, browser type and IP address, used for security and fraud prevention.

Payment information is collected and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record; we do not store your card details.

We process account and usage data to perform our contract with you, technical data on the basis of our legitimate interests in keeping the Service secure, and support data to respond to you. Where we are required to retain records by law, we process data on the basis of legal obligation. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

• Service providers that host and operate the Service on our behalf (cloud hosting, database and email delivery providers).
• Paddle, as Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, payment processing, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
• Authorities where we are required to do so by law.

Some of our service providers process data outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses to protect your data.

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer required. Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and row-level security in our database, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

The Service uses essential cookies and local storage only, to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies.
